Devlesko Dikkiben Sacred Visioning Retreat
Semi-fast or light meals (please scroll down for dates & fees)
This programme is designed to help you unwind and spend valuable time just being you. With its slow pace - which we call Sutta - and its care and encouragement, this is a programme for helping you step off the planet for a week so that you move into spiritual retreat mode.
A semi-fast is recommended to inspire and encourage visions to form. A natural fruit juice, freshly squeezed, assists you to switch on your conscious dreaming self where you'll be surprised at what you can achieve when moving along in the journeying/meditation processs.

This week-long retreat programme has you and your experiences at heart. It is the kind of programme that can help solve minor physical ailments and offer emotional healing, while at the same time energising your consciousness, delivering you to a natural landscape within, inspired by the woodland that will be just outside your door. You'll be able to encourage and record your dreams and visions, using your own creative skills to help some unique experiences to flow through you.
If on the semi-fast, which is highly recommended, you will have a glass of fruit juice, orange or apple, three times daily, and as much water as you need. This slowing down of your mind, body and spirit helps bring visions into focus and gives you solutions to problems and ideas for many things you may be keen to solve/achieve.
What is the Devlesko Dikkiben?
This means Sacred Mirror or Vision, drawn from the Romani Gypsy culture. It is a way of getting yourself in tune with the natural world where the Earth, Sky, Sun and Moon can help you find natural images relating to what you need to add to your life and what you may need to let go of, to make things flow along more freely.
Staying in a comfortable environment, you'll be encouraged to communicate with the Boro Mulee, or Greater Ancestors, Ravnos, Kam, Shon and Puv, so that you can move in rhythm with them and gather more insight and intuition to move forward with whatever you are doing in life. It is likely to be an experience that will live long in your heart and mind when you have completed this week-long journey.

If you are on medication - If you are on medication or have any health problems, even if you are pregnant, you can still come on the retreat, but you will be given a light diet of delicious vegan food to help you through the week. Note that only those not on any medication at all will be given the semi-fast.
An experienced host - Patrick Jasper Lee has been running the Devlesko Dikkiben programmes successfully for over thirty years and is experienced with all kinds of aspects of fasting and visioning.
On your arrival - When you arrive for the retreat programme on the Saturday, you will be given a simple but tasty vegan meal, specially designed for this retreat, and you will then begin your fast the next day. You will be fasting for five days and will end the fast on the sixth day with a light salad at lunch time and a light vegan meal in the evening. On the following (last) day, when you leave, you will be able to have your normal breakfast before you start off for home.
Some simple rules - If you are taking the fast, please note that everyone needs to partake of the evening meal together on arrival. Anyone already fasting, before the programme starts, will not be able to join the retreat. Each participant will also need to eat before they leave. Anyone will be able to leave the programme at any time should they choose; similarly we have the right to terminate the programme if we feel it isn't helping you. Our rules are designed for your own wellbeing and safety and have been used for many years, so they prove the best methods for moving through this programme with favourable results. Any finer details can be available on application or when you make an enquiry.
One of the best retreats - The main point of this retreat is to help you slow down and take stock of your life with the help of a tried and tested programme, caring and experienced hosts, the natural world, and some empowering visions. It is not exactly the same as the Native American Vision Quest. It has been called a unique programme for the fact that it helps you connect with the natural world, and your greater self, in a relaxing and caring way. If you need extra help for any problems you have/or encounter, Jasper will be available for private sessions at any time during the programme.
